The Outer Worlds 2 is now available worldwide across PS5, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox, and PC platforms.

The Outer Worlds 2 had its early unlock for Premium Edition owners last week, and it has now launched for all editions across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, and Battle.net). If you haven't done so, you can read Alex's interview with Obsidian's Brandon Adler here, Adam's interview with Brandon Adler and Matthew Singh here, Junior's review here, and my handheld impressions here.

The Outer Worlds 2 is out now!

You’ve trained for this. You’ve read the briefings. You’ve probably ignored most of them. Now it’s time to find out what kind of Earth Directorate agent you really are.

The Outer Worlds 2 has officially launched, and the rift-torn colony of Arcadia needs… well, someone. Navigate a world caught between military order, religious prophecy, and corporate branding—and decide which of them deserves your loyalty, your skepticism, or your best sarcastic remark.

Your decisions shape everything. Will you follow protocol, break it, or accidentally vaporize it? Forge alliances, betray them, or try to talk your way out of the mess you just created. Every choice carries weight—some of it explosive.

Players who grab the Premium Edition can dive even deeper with The Moon Man’s Corporate Appreciation Prize Pack, access to digital artbook and soundtrack, and a DLC Pass for two future story expansions. Because no matter what kind of agent you turn out to be, you might as well look good doing it.

So go on—report for duty, or whatever’s left of it. Arcadia’s waiting.

The universe needs a hero, but you’ll have to do.
