Persona 5: The Phantom X version 2.4 update adds Futaba Sakura as a new playable Elucidator

Sega and Atlus have released a new update for the Japanese and Global releases of Persona 5: The Phantom X that brings the game's version up to 2.4. The primary highlight of this update is the addition of Futaba Sakura, whose code name is Navi in Asian languages or Oracle in the West.

For additional context, Futaba has been widely regarded as one of the meta-defining characters in the earlier East Asian release. Even though she is only available in the supportive Elucidator slot, she can provide massive advantages by lowering enemies' elemental resistance levels.

The same update also adds a new episode starring Futaba for the crossover storyline that has the P5X characters team up with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5. While the story stages are available permanently, there are missions with rewards that are only available for a limited time from the patch's release.

In addition, Sega is planning to hold reruns of fellow Persona 5 Phantom Thieves Yusuke "Fox" Kitagawa and Makoto "Queen" Niijima on November 13. The gacha banners for all aforementioned characters will also have guaranteed Targeted versions, which first appeared in the preceding version 2.3 update.

Futaba can turn all foes' affinities to the party's favor, based on the attributes of her party members. 
This turns normal affinities to weaknesses and further increases weakness damage for weaknesses the foe already had.
In addition to these attribute changes, Futaba can also inflict debuffs onto foes with effects such as lowering their Defense or increasing their damage taken.
When equipped with her 5★ weapon, Technomage Ultra FS, Futaba can also increase the amount of critical damage foes take.

Futaba is a highly versatile character who can work well with any party formation.
She allows you to strengthen her allies while also inflicting debuffs on foes and changing their affinities to dramatically increase damage dealt.
