Borderlands 2 is getting the season pass treatment

Typically when you hear the term "season pass" it's not a good sign - especially when ones of recent times have been largely met with half-filled promises and mediocre content. Borderlands 2 is trying to change that.

2K has announced that for $30 you can set yourself up with all 4 of the planned DLC expansions for the game, which will follow the release of the retail box. Essentially, you'll be saving $10 as each individual pack will retail for $9.99/800MSP.

Considering the amount of content found in the original Borderland's expansions, this is potentially a good thing.

Details and launch dates have yet to be revealed, but as with most add-ons - should come sometime after the game launches on September 18th.
