Chaos Zero Nightmare's first major update is now live

Smilegate's Chaos Zero Nightmare has gotten its first major update bringing in a new combatant, new story chapter, and more.

Yuki, the new combatant, specializes in AOE attacks as shown in her gameplay video here. The new story chapter is Forbidden Catalyst with this update also bringing in the Galactic Disaster seasonal content featuring new content coming in every few weeks.

Chaos Zero Nightmare is now available for iOS, Android, and PC (Stove).

Today, Smilegate and Super Creative’s dark fantasy roguelike RPG Chaos Zero Nightmare received its first major content update, adding the season-based “Galactic Disaster,” along with its first season, “Forbidden Catalyst.” This addition introduces a new combatant, partner, Chaos Zones, and more. 

New content includes:

• New Combatant “Yuki” (Order Attribute, 5-Star Striker) – Head of the Special Investigation Department, Yuki specializes in powerful area-of-effect attacks. 

  • The video showcases her combat mechanics, Epiphany card effects, and synergy with other Combatants.

• New Partner “Westmacott”

• New Story Chapter “Forbidden Catalyst”

• Seasonal Content “Galactic Disaster” – Players can experience new large-scale battles and rewards in this limited-time season event.

• New Chaos Zones “Laboratory 0” and “Nebula Distortion” – Players can obtain Forbidden and Common Cards, new Monster Cards and exclusive Equipment.

• Upcoming Content “Great Rift” – Teased as part of a future update following Forbidden Catalyst.

More content is on the way, as “Galactic Disaster” operates on a nine-week cycle, with new seasonal content released at three-week intervals.
