Tales of Berseria Remastered launches for PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Steam on February 26/27, 2026

Bandai Namco has newly revealed that they will release Tales of Berseria Remastered for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This is going to be a remastered release of Tales of Berseria, which originally came out for PlayStation 3 & 4 in Japan in August 2016 and the West in January 2017.

The Japanese reveal trailer shows that the remaster's PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series release date in Japan will be February 26, 2026, and the PC Steam version follows a day later on February 27. Based on Bandai Namco's usual release pattern, the global console releases are pretty much set for February 27 as well.

Today's reveal also means the series producer Yusuke Tomizawa is keeping his words when he teased that another Tales Of entry remaster would be revealed shortly after Tales of Xillia Remastered in a Weekly Famitsu interview last month.

As a side note, this announcement also means Japanese players will finally get access to Tales of Berseria on Steam in one way. While the original Berseria is already available globally on Steam, it is notably having a region-lock setting that singles out Japan (along with Venezuela) from accessing it.

Tales of Berseria Remastered resolution and frame rate

The Japanese website lists the following resolution and frame rate targets for Tales of Berseria Remastered on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch with Steam to be revealed in the future.

Tales of Berseria Remastered is a remastered version of TALES OF BERSERIA, first released in 2016. The remastered title features notable quality of life enhancements such as early access to the Grade Shop, destination icons, and the ability to toggle encounters. The title also features also includes downloadable content from the original release, featuring character costumes, bonus items, and other fan-favorite extras.
