Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 Steam updates have been delayed to December 11 from December 8

Sega has announced that the new versions (as free updates) of Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 for Steam have been delayed to December 11 from December 8.

No reason was given for this delay, but the new versions (which are set to arrive as updates) will bring in the licensed music into Yakuza Kiwami and new subtitle language support for both games. There is no clarity on whether these are actually new ports arriving as updates yet.

Yakuza Kiwami is now available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, and PC. Yakuza Kiwami 2 is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Both games launch December 8 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The updates for Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 on Steam arrive on December 11.
