Cassette Boy releases for PC Steam, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on January 15

Pocketpair Publishing has confirmed the full release date for the PC release of Cassette Boy. The solo-developed game will be available on Steam on January 15.

To be more precise, SteamDB has also indicated that Cassette Boy will release on January 15 exactly at midnight in Japan's time zone (GMT+9). That means for any time zone to its west, the game will be available on January 14. This final release date will, however, slightly miss the 2025 window announced previously in October.

In the Japanese press release, Pocketpair also teased that Cassette Boy will be available not only for PC. The company revealed that Forever Entertainment will help release the same game for consoles—namely Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. [Update : Forever Entertainment has since clarified that the release date for the game's console versions will also be the same as the PC release.]
