Digimon Story: Time Stranger new update patch adds Digimon Beatbreak promotional content
Bandai Namco has published a new update patch for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. This update primarily prepares content for the first DLC pack that comes out on the same day. However, the company also revealed that this update comes with new in-game promotional content related to Digimon Beatbreak.
As a reminder, Digimon Beatbreak is the newest mainline Digimon anime show as of this writing. Its first episode aired recently on October 5—shortly after Bandai Namco released Time Stranger worldwide on October 2/3.
This update patch notably adds an actual promotion trailer for Digimon Beatbreak that will play on billboards in the game's real-world city areas in Shinjuku and Akihabara. The same update also comes with a new wearable T-shirt for the protagonist. The latter will have the same motif as Beatbreak's protagonist Tomoro's T-shirt on the front and an illustration of the main partner digimon Gekkomon on the back side.
You can find the new screenshots from the Japanese press release right below. Digimon Story: Time Stranger is currently available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
