The new trailer showcases several new mechanics for the side-scrolling RPG, including a 100-day gameplay structure, dialogue choices, as well as some card-based selection systems. The side-scroller RPG last received a trailer back in 2023, but the developers have been posting regular updates to the game's Steam Community hub.
The new trailer, details, and screenshot set can be found below, via Fahrenheit 213. The new key artwork is illustrated by Kurobishi Kouhaku, which you might recognize from the Summon Night series.
In this showcase, we introduced a variety of new elements:
Arche’s new combat style, new music, new key visuals, the gameplay cycle leading toward the final battle on Day 100, and the power of the tsurugi that rewrites fate.

The development of Tsurugihime is being carried out by a small core team of fewer than ten people, supported by many talented contributors. We’re doing everything we can to deliver a playable experience to you sometime in 2026. (And yes—we haven’t forgotten about the demo!)
From here on, we plan to share more concrete updates on our development progress. And of course, all the latest news will always be posted here in our Developer’s Note!
