Persona 5: The Phantom X version 2.7 update set to add Justine and Caroline on December 25

Sega and Atlus have formally revealed that Justine and Caroline will be added to Persona 5: The Phantom X as new recruitable party members. The twin wardens originally appeared in the base Persona 5 and the enhanced Persona 5 Royal, but this will mark the first time ever for them to be available as playable members. The twins will join the PC and mobile free-to-play game roster via a new update patch that will arrive next week on December 25.

This will also be the first update patch to apply simultaneously worldwide on all available servers—Mainland Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Western, and Southeast Asian. The latter three servers, having launched more recently in mid-2025, have been playing catch-up with the former three East Asian servers. However, Justine and Caroline are also just getting added to the East Asian servers next week.

For the Japanese, Western, and Southeast Asian servers, this update will raise the game's version to 2.7. It will also fall right around the half-anniversary for Japan and the West, which saw P5X released on June 26. In fact, Sega has also been gradually adding campaigns to celebrate the half-anniversary milestone, the details of which you can also check at the bottom of this article.
