Shuten Order Nintendo Switch 2 Edition physical release launches on April 23, 2026

Exnoa and Too Kyo Games have confirmed the full release date for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 physical release of Shuten Order in Japan, where the game is instead known as Shuten Kyodan. The physical package will be available there on April 23.

Following the announcement for the Japanese release, Spike Chunsoft has confirmed that they will release physical packages of the Switch 1 and 2 versions in North America, as well as Switch 2 for Europe through Reef Entertainment, on the same day. The physical Switch 1 release had been available earlier in Japan.

The upcoming Switch 2 package will immediately contain the newer Switch 2 native build without having to purchase an additional upgrade pack.

 EXNOA, the company that operates DMM GAMES, and Tookyo Games today announced Shuten Order physical editions for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch will be released on April 23, 2026.

The physical edition of Shuten Order for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch will be distributed in North America by PM Studios. In Europe, REEF Entertainment Ltd. will distribute the physical edition exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
