Avowed launches for PlayStation 5 on February 17 alongside update adding new races, New Game Plus, and Photo Mode

During today's New Game+ Showcase 2026, Obsidian Entertainment announced that Avowed will launch for PlayStation 5 on February 17. This comes about one year after the fantasy RPG was originally released for Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) in February 2025.

The Standard Edition will be available for $49.99, while a Deluxe Edition will be available at $59.99, including a Digital Artbook & Soundtrack, two Player Armors, and eight Companion Skins.

Alongside the new PS5 version, the game will receive an 'Anniversary Update' adding new races in the Orlan, Aumaua, & Dwarves, a New Game + mode, a Photo Mode, and a new weapon type.
