Makaism: Frenzy of the Netherworld 3rd Japanese trailer showcases Prinny and other Servants
Nippon Ichi Software has published a new trailer for Kyouran Makaism in Japan and updated its official website with new pages explaining the Servant system. The game has since been revealed to have an English localized title of Makaism: Frenzy of the Netherworld, as Clouded Leopard Entertainment will handle the game's releases in Asia, with an English subtitle option also included.
A total of 16 Servant species—including Nippon Ichi's mascot Prinny—will be available to be recruited, and up to 4 of them can be brought into battles in the Character Realm. You will be able to modify a Servant by changing their name, color, battle behavior, stats, and the technique that can be used by the protagonist N.A. when he transforms them into a weapon. You can also later reincarnate a Servant to reset their level while giving permanent stat buffs, and you can also change the Servant's species while retaining the ability exclusively learned from the original species.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment will release Makaism: Frenzy of the Netherworld in Asia the same day Nippon Ichi releases Kyouran Makaism in Japan for Nintendo Switch 1&2 and PlayStation 5 on January 29. But while the Asian releases are also set to include English subtitles besides Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese, NIS America has still yet to announce the game's Western console and global PC releases.
