Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan on May 28

Experience has revealed that they will release Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ for Nintendo Switch on May 28 in Japan. This new dystopian dungeon crawler RPG will take place in the same universe as Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, though its story will take place 5 years after the first entry.

The new game will be available physically and digitally, though the digital format will be split into two separate arcs that cost ¥3,900 individually. The Japanese press release clarifies that the digital split will consist of the Transfer Arc for the main story and the Revenge Arc for post-game content accessible only by having played the former.

You can find the official screenshots right below. We have also translated the Japanese story synopsis below that.

5 years have passed since the incident of the Undernauts' "confinement".
The squirming darkness is once again baring its fangs towards Yomi.

The "Yomi High School" students are the one being targeted now.

Each class gets transferred to Hell,
and they are being taught the following technique in order to survive:
Resurrect the corpses of your friends, and treat them as warpower.

That is not a choice.
In order to live, you have to do that.
