Super Robot Wars Y DLC2: Awakening of a Soul releases on February 6

Bandai Namco has finally announced the release date for the second Super Robot Wars Y DLC pack and the last one in the game's season pass at Taipei Game Show 2025. Shortly after the event stage, the company made the same announcement globally that this DLC will be available worldwide on February 6 (or February 5 for those in the US Pacific time zone). Those who have purchased the game's deluxe edition or season pass are also entitled for an Early Access 2 days earlier.

Most of the new content added is already known earlier, but you can find a rundown of the DLC2 content right below.

  • Steel Jeeg (previously appeared in SRW Alpha 2&3, K, & L)
    • Unit: Steel Jeeg
    • Song: Kotetsu Jeeg no Uta (instrumental)
  • Getter Robo: The Jet-Black Drifters (console debut after appearing in mobile games SRW X-Ω & DD)
    • Unit: Getter Noir #1 (Ryoma) -> Getter Noir G (Ryoma, Hayato, and Musashi)
    • Song: Noir Rumble (vocal)
  • The Brave of Legend Da-Garn (brand-new)
    • Unit: Da-Garn X -> Great Da-Garn GX
    • Assist: Seiji
    • Song: Kaze no Mirai e (instrumental)

In addition, Bandai Namco newly revealed that a new update patch to version 1.2.0 will appear at the same time. This patch will add a new STG Memory tree after completing Chapter 4. A new Battle Rush stage will also appear post-game.

There will also be further maximum cap increases for both character stats and levels, as well as unit upgrades. And just like the first one, this update will also add "Omen" as a preview stage for DLC2 characters, so those who do not get the DLC can still access a sneak peek of the extra units.
