The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales save data bonuses revealed for specific Square Enix games

Square Enix has revealed save data bonuses for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales if you have saves from a few of its recent and older titles.

These bonuses will be available for having save data on the same system or purchase history for the games depending on the platform. The games featured in this save data bonus campaign are Octopath Traveler 0, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, Various Daylife, and Triangle Strategy. Thanks to Nintendo Life for the heads up! This reveal follows the recent set of details Square Enix went over including characters, actions, magicite, and Debut Demo feedback.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is set to release on June 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).

Save data from Octopath Traveler 0, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, Various Daylife, and Triangle Strategy is required in order to claim each of the individual linked save data bonuses below for use in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. The save data for these titles must be on the same system as The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales (or for certain platforms, purchase history of these titles on the same player account). Demo save data from titles with demo versions may also fulfill the bonus eligibility requirement.

Eligible titles and the respective bonuses are as follows:

  • Octopth Traveler 0: Sword magicite "Guidance of the Sacred Flame" - Increases sword damage dealt to enemies with 30% or lower vitality by 10%.
  • Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake: Sword magicite "Critical Hit" - Increases sword critical-hit rate by 6%.
  • Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster: Sword magicite "Brave" - Increases sword damage dealt by 10%. Uses a little more shield stamina when guarding.
  • Various Daylife: Sword magicite "Expeditionary Wisdom" - Reduces sword charge time by 10%.
  • Triangle strategy: Sword magicite "Counter Stance" - Increases sword damage dealt by 10% while shield stamina is 90% or greater.

Notes on receiving the bonuses

  • Save data from an eligible title is required to be on the same Nintendo Switch  2 console, PlayStation 5 console, Xbox Series X|S console or Microsoft Store compatible PC that is used to play The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. (Save data present on cloud services must be downloaded to the console in order to claim the bonuses.)
  • For Steam, the account used to play The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales must contain an eligible title in the purchase history.
  • If playing The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales on Nintendo Switch 2 but the applicable save data is on a Nintendo Switch™ console, that data must be transferred to the Nintendo Switch™ 2 console.
  • If playing The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales on PlayStation 5 but the applicable save data is on a PlayStation®4 console, that data must be transferred to the PlayStation 5 console.
  • No save data transfers other than those listed above are valid for the save data bonuses.
  • Save data bonuses may be claimed at any time, even if an eligible title’s save data is created after starting gameplay with The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.
  • This is a promotion put in place at the time of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales’ release. It does not guarantee the permanent distribution or service of linked titles or corresponding demos.

How to claim the bonus items

  1. Select the Promotional Bonus option from The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales’ title screen and link with any corresponding titles. Linking occurs automatically by opening the relevant screen.
  2. After starting a new game, examine the desk on the second floor of the orphanage in the Age of Safekeeping.
  3. Select Claim bonuses from the menu options to claim the qualifying bonuses from the list.

Please note that bonuses cannot be claimed at certain points in the game when the orphanage in the Age of Safekeeping becomes temporarily inaccessible.

Departure Brooch - Increases the amount of tul (in-game currency) and magicite fragments dropped by enemies by a little
