Dragon is Dead launches on April 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch

Publisher PM Studios and developer TeamSuneat have announced that Dragon is Dead will launch on April 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The sidescroller roguelike action RPG originally launched for Steam in June 2025 after one year in Early Access.

Physical versions of the game will be handled by PM Studios, set to launch on July 14.

A recent update to the Steam version added a new 'Rift' game mode, alongside bug fixes and equipment updates.

Today, TeamSuneat and PM Studios announced that digital edition of their dark fantasy hack-and-slash title, Dragon is Dead, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2026. Additionally, the physical Guernian Edition of Dragon is Dead will be distributed by PM Studios in North America and will launch on July 14, 2026.
Dragon is Dead is a cult-favorite dark fantasy hack-and-slash featuring slash-’em-up combat and a variety of unlockable classes, including the elemental-spellcasting Spellblade, the aggressive Berserker and ranged-specialist Hunter. Players can customize class skill trees, slot runes and hunt for Legendary and Mythic loot as they battle through corrupted, ever-shifting levels.
With the physical edition, players can uncover the Black Dawn with a deeper understanding of the dragon Guernian. In Dragon is Dead, the dragon Guernian has fallen, and his Corruption has twisted the world. Players must fight their way to the Citadel at the center of the rift, uncovering the truth and discovering what the Black Dawn is truly doing with the Corruption. The physical edition includes expanded lore details that enhance the experience as players battle to learn the truth.

Dragon is Dead is currently available on Steam and will be launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on April 23, alongside physical editions on July 14.
