Fallout 4 for Switch 2 to add DLSS in future update

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 is going to get support for DLSS in a future update.

Bethesda revealed this in a Tweet, but did not give added information on which modes this would be added to. Based on my impressions with the game, it would benefit the 60fps mode a lot and I hope it is also added to the 40fps mode. Read my early impressions here. No timeframe was given for this update, but Fallout 4 on Switch 2 is a much better port than Skyrim was at launch.

There is also no mention of custom creations/mods being added on Switch 2 like on other consoles, but it is unlikely that those are added given how most games with mods on consoles do not have access to custom mods on Switch platforms.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is available for Switch 2, PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC, featuring the base game, six add-ons, over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, and more.
