Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, today announced that its upcoming monster-taming action RPG Mongil Star: Dive will officially launch worldwide on April 15 for PC and mobile platforms.
Mongil Star: Dive is the long-awaited sequel to the beloved 2013 mobile collectible RPG Monster Taming. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the title delivers high-quality cinematic storytelling, dynamic real-time combat, and a three-character tag battle system that emphasizes fast-paced action and strategic team switching.
The game features a cast of charming and distinctive characters alongside its signature “Monsterling Collection” system, which allows players to capture, collect, and synthesize monsters as companions. These Monsterlings can be equipped and combined to enhance combat performance and deepen progression strategy.
Ahead of launch, Mongil Star: Dive has undergone multiple global closed beta tests to refine gameplay quality and stability. The game has also been showcased at major international gaming events including Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, where players and media experienced hands-on demonstrations and live presentations.
At G-STAR 2025, the team drew attention by unveiling a new Korean-inspired region and characters for the first time. During GDC 2026, which is taking place in San Francisco this week, Netmarble has attracted global media attention through a collaborative on-site demo experience with Xbox and the release of new playthrough footage.
“We are focusing all of our efforts on final polishing to deliver Mongil Star: Dive at the highest level of quality,” said Ken Kim, CEO of Netmarble Monster. “We will repay the anticipation of players around the world with a game that meets their expectations.”
Global pre-registration is currently underway. Players who sign up via the official website, Google Play Store, Apple App Store or other participating platforms can receive a variety of perks including the popular “Francis” character, Summoning Tickets known as “Compass of Promise” and other valuable rewards.
