Marvelous opens Character Polls for Story of Seasons 30th anniversary & Rune Factory 20th anniversary

Marvelous has opened new character polls for Story of Seasons (Bokujo Monogatari) and Rune Factory simultaneously. These polls help celebrate the respective 30th and 20th anniversaries of each franchise.

Both polls will close simultaneously on Monday, April 6, at 11:59 AM JST (02:59 AM GMT/UTC). But until then, one can place a vote in each poll once per day.

The Story of Seasons poll features a total of 347 characters, and it also includes those from titles that were localized in English as Harvest Moon before the franchise split happened with the 2015 localization of the 3DS entry Story of Seasons. Meanwhile, the Rune Factory poll features 213 characters.

Marvelous also announced that the top 10 winners in the Story of Seasons poll will get new illustrations made by Igusa Matsuyama. Likewise, the top 5 winners in the Rune Factory poll will also get new illustrations from Minako Iwasaki.

As a side note, Marvelous has also published new anniversary illustrations based on the first Bokujo Monogatari (Harvest Moon) entry and Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma.
