Merregnon: Heart of Ice album release teased for March 20 featuring Nobuo Uematsu's orchestral compositions
Back in February 2024, legendary video games composer Nobuo Uematsu revealed his new orchestral compositions in the form of Merregnon: Heart of Ice, music composed directly for live performance as opposed to a dedicated soundtrack or album. Uematsu's music for this project was set to a story, with performances set to be an "orchestral event" and not just a performance.
Today, he has teased a special release recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra. The teaser video which features new music can be viewed below. It ends with a March 20 date listed. It is unclear if the album is releasing on March 20 or we will get more information then. He also links to an official page to sign up for more information. The lnk.to pages are usually for digital and physical album releases so it will likely go up for pre-saving or pre-ordering here.
