Compile Heart has formally revealed the brand-new mainline Neptunia entry. After sharing a teaser last week, the new game is unveiled in Japanese as Choushinjikuu Game Neptune Unlimited. The title could be roughly translated as "Hyperneospacetime Neptunia Unlimited", pending an official localization. It will be available in Japan for Nintendo Switch 1&2 and PlayStation 4&5 on August 27.

The original key characters—Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert—are all confirmed returning with new outfits. However, only Neptune will remain as a primary goddess, as the other nations will have new guardians. In addition, Blanc's nation of Lowee has also been renamed to Sweenia, the new city built nearby which has also become its new capital city, as a reference to Nintendo's Wii and Switch.
