Wander Stars Japanese localization appears for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC Steam on April 23
Beep Japan has announced the release date for the Japanese localization of Wander Stars. It will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on April 23, and the existing PC release on Steam will also receive an update that adds the new localization on the same day.
It is worth noting that Wander Stars was initially revealed in 2021 with heavy inspiration from Japanese 1990s anime shows, yet when it was eventually released in the West last September, it had only been available in English prior to this announcement. As another fun fact, despite having a proper katakana in the game's title (ワンダースターズ), the Japanese press release only used the English alphabet version to refer to the game title (even though the "Wanderstar Map" is still properly expressed in katakana).
