Mochiko the Samurai full release appears for PC via Steam on April 10

Felice has announced that they will release the full version of Mochiko The Samurai for PC via Steam on April 10. The game has also been available for purchase via an Early Access version since last month on March 9.

The Japanese press release also mentions a few more tidbits that are not shown on the English Steam page. Yuka Nakamura, the voice actress for the eponymous protagonist Mochiko, was previously part of the SKE48 idol group.

In addition, Felice also notably employs two staff members from Syria for this project: Rashad Asaad as the programmer and Zaid Kiwan as the 3D artist. In the press release, the Japanese company noted that while Rashad has been working on this game in Japan for 2 years, he had to survive a tumultuous war period during his childhood. He discovered Japanese games as the only place where he could forget about reality, and they also produced hope for him to one day create a game that can relieve someone's mind.
