Namco X Capcom opening and ending theme songs will appear on digital streaming platforms on April 11
Namco X Capcom composer Yuzo Koshiro has announced that the opening and ending theme songs of the 2005 crossover strategy RPG will appear on numerous digital streaming platforms on April 11. The opening song is titled Subarashiki Shin Sekai (Wonderful New World), while the ending song is Itsuka Kitto, Tsuki no Shita de (Some day surely, Under the Moon(light)).
Yuzo Koshiro himself was also the composer for both songs, which were performed by flair. Koshiro also added that these digital releases will use the master source versions that have better quality than the original soundtrack CD album that came out in late August 2005.
As a refresher, Namco X Capcom was exclusively released for PlayStation 2 in Japan. It also served as a precursor for subsequent crossover RPG titles like Super Robot Wars OG Saga: Endless Frontier and Project X Zone.
You can find Yuzo Koshiro's original announcement tweets right below, followed by our English translations of those tweets.
今回、幸いにもマスター音源(48kHz/24bit)が見つかり、CDサントラよりもさらに音質の良いバージョンをお届けできることになりました。ぜひお楽しみください!

Namco X Capcom OP/ED are finally confirmed to be published digitally.
You all ended up having to wait for a long time, but after around 20 years since the game was released in 2005, we're finally able to publish it digitally.
- "Subarashiki Shin Sekai" (OP) - Long / Short / Off-Vocal versions
- "Itsuka kitto, Tsuki no Shita de" (ED) - Long / Off-Vocal versions
Publications will start in each streaming service from April 11.
This time we are fortunately able to find the master sound source (48kHz/24bit), so we can deliver versions with even better audio qualities than the CD soundtrack. Please kindly look forward to them!
