HYKE: Northern Light(s) is getting a free content update on April 30 for consoles and PC

Developer Blast Edge Games with publishers Akatsuki Games and Aniplex have announced that the 2D pixel action RPG HYKE: Northern Light(s) will be getting a new content update on April 30 titled: A Witch's chill time.

This update will come to PS5, Switch, and PC with Apple Arcade to follow later in the year. It includes a new story, new encounters, gameplay elements, and is set in a hot spring location. HYKE: Northern Light(s) is now available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), and Apple Arcade.

Aniplex Inc and Akatsuki Games Inc. announced today that its thrilling 2D top-down action pixel RPG HYKE: Northern Light(s) will recieve a free content update titled “A Witch’s chill time” on April 30th . The free update will release on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 (with the Apple Arcade update slated for later this year) and includes a new story, new encounters, and new gameplay elements all set in a hot spring location.
“A Witch’s chill time” takes places after the resolution of the main campaign with the days of fierce battle finally behind them. A period of tranquility settled in—until one day, guided by an invitation from Aurora, Hyke and the group stepped into a mysterious realm. What greeted their eyes there was—none other than a "hot spring." However, it turned out that during the process of creating this space, Aurora had misplaced the very items needed to fully enjoy the hot spring experience. To recover these lost items, Haiku and the others set out to explore the depths of the mysterious realm. And so, a new adventure begins—one dedicated to bringing Hyke and the group's "ideal hot spring" to perfection!
RPG HYKE: Northern Light(s) is currently available to purchase on Steam, Nintendo Switch for $27.99 and on sale until May 6th on PlayStation 5 for $20.71. The game is also available on iOS devices via Apple Arcade.
