Monochrome Echoes - black - is coming soon to PC via Steam Early Access
Thousand Games has revealed that they are preparing to release Monochrome Echoes - black - for PC via Steam. The game will appear first via an Early Access release, which is expected to run for around 3 months.
When compared to the previously released Monochrome Echoes - white -, the first game had a story focus. For this new release, the studio has teased that it will have a focus on replayability, as it will feature random dungeons and a custom character creator system.
Take note, however, that while Thousand Games had promised to launch an English version of Monochrome Echoes - white - since April last year, the Japanese studio has still yet to update the Steam page with a formal English language support, even with the updates last recorded in June.

World Setting
You are one of the Clan of Sealing, a bloodline blessed with the power to seal away Demon Lords.
When the appointed time comes, the Clan borrows the power of the goddess and journeys across many worlds, carrying out its sacred duty:
to reseal the revived Demon Lords.
At present, there are four worlds that require the Demon Lord’s resealing:
Jambier, the world of dense jungles
Blue Moon, the world of vast oceans
Gomastra, the world of endless deserts
Gilgis, the world filled with the stench of decay
Within each of these worlds, a Demon Lord that once rampaged across the land remains sealed.
Though the seals are layered many times over, it is only a matter of time before they are broken.
Each Demon Lord is imprisoned on an isolated island known as the Isle of Sealing.
To reach the Isle of Sealing, you must first defeat the beings who hold the Sealing Keys in each world — the stage bosses.
Only then can you invade the Isle of Sealing itself and venture deep into its labyrinth to seal the Demon Lord once more.
This mission must be repeated across all four worlds.
But the time you are given is short:
In each world, on each island, you have only five days.
