Check the changes in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Japanese voice actor list
Nihon Falcom has been gradually updating the official website for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, including the character section. While the English website only lists the English voice actors, the community's attention has been focused on the Japanese website, which shows a major overhaul in the Japanese voice cast.
When Falcom was releasing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, they revealed how the Japanese voice cast for most of the main characters had changed. Toshihiro Kondo explained in a subsequent interview that he wanted to have a younger Japanese voice cast in the remake.
As the direct sequel, 2nd Chapter continues the trend of changing the Japanese voice actors for most of the newer supporting characters, although a couple of them have also been changed since earlier series entries. Out of the supporting characters revealed so far, only Takahiro Yoshimizu and Kanae Ito return to reprise their roles as Walter "The Lanky Wolf" and Campanella "The Fool", respectively.
We have compiled the list of new supporting characters in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter along with their Japanese voice actors right below. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1&2, and PC via Steam simultaneously worldwide on September 17.
