Blue Archive will get official Steam Deck support and controller support after May 26

Nexon has announced that Blue Archive will be getting official Steam Deck support and controller support with the update releasing on or after May 26 depending on your region.

This announcement was made in the special 4.5 year anniversary Schale News presentation (timestamped here) with more information on updates and other content coming to Blue Archive on mobile and PC. Steam Deck support and controller support was hinted at before. Blue Archive is currently playable on the Steam Deck, but you need to use a virtual cursor. With the update coming May 26, it will be fully playable with a controller as well.

Blue Archive is now available on iOS, Android, and PC (Steam).

NEXON is excited to announce that their anime-style RPG, Blue Archive, will be participating at Anime Expo 2026! In addition to a Blue Archive booth and panel at the show, the development team also commemorated the game’s 4.5-year anniversary with a “Kivotos Live” Broadcast, which revealed major updates for players.

Anime Expo 2026 Participation

During Anime Expo 2026, NEXON will be hosting a special Blue Archive panel session covering behind-the-scenes development stories and production insights scheduled for Friday, July 3, from 6:00 PM to 7:50 PM PDT at Petree Hall. An official livestream will also be held through the Blue Archive YouTube channel.

To continue the fun, Blue Archive will also feature interactive activities and merchandise zone experiences located at the South Hall at Booth SH-2220 for the community to participate in. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse official merchandise and unlock a variety of exciting rewards by participating in on-site events and completing special missions.

4.5th Anniversary “Kivotos Live” Broadcast

In celebration of Blue Archive’s 4.5-year anniversary, the development team led by Executive Project Director Kim Yongha and Deputy Project Director Lee Junho, hosted a special livestream broadcast announcing the game’s participation at Anime Expo, along with other major upcoming updates and future service plans.
