System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is now available for Nintendo Switch 2

Nightdive Studios has launched System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster for Nintendo Switch 2 as a Nintnedo Switch 2 Edition. 

This follows Nightdive's other release Blood, which got a Switch 2 Edition a little while ago. You can upgrade from the Switch 1 version by purchasing the System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack for free. It is available here. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features enhanced resolution, higher frame rate, and support for mouse controls.

If you don't own it yet and the Switch 2 Edition is not showing up as discounted, you can buy the Switch 1 version and claim the free upgrade pack. The 1999 original uniquely blended RPG, first-person shooter and survival horror elements making it an instant classic, while the remaster features modern enhancements that bring players closer to the year 2114. 

Nintendo Switch 2 owners can now purchase the game on sale for $17.99 on Atari.com or the Nintendo Store.
