Onimusha: Way of the Sword release date confirmed on September 25, demo version launches today
Capcom has confirmed the full release date for Onimusha: Way of the Sword at the June 2026 State of Play stream. The game will be available simultaneously worldwide on September 25.
In addition, Capcom also announced that they have launched a public demo version of the game. This demo lets you play the Kyoto stage that was also featured at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which also culminated with a boss fight against Sasaki Ganryu.
You can find the new trailers right below. The main trailer also confirms the famous demon Shuten-Doji as one of the bosses Miyamoto Musashi will fight against in this game. Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
