Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster launches on July 23 for Nintendo Switch 2

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23.

Pre-orders are now live here for $49.99, which is currently the same price as the existing Switch 1 version. The page mentions save data is incompatible between Switch and Switch 2 versions.

The physical release launches a month later in Japan,  priced at 7480 Yen, and it will be a Game-Key Card release. An upgrade path from Switch to Switch 2 has not been revealed yet. Based on the wording from the official Final Fantasy X account, the western release appears to be digital-only.
