VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action 10th anniversary celebration album out now, iOS port still happening

Ysbryd Games has announced new merchandise, a new album, and resurrected the iOS port of VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the original PC release of VA-11 Hall-A from Sukeban Games and publisher Ysbryd Games has shared its anniversary plans in a Steam blog post. VA-11 Hall-A debuted on PC platforms before seeing a PS Vita release. It was then ported to Switch and PS4. Back in 2018, an iOS version was nearly ready, but it never released. Today, Ysbryd has confirmed that the iOS version is once again in the works and news around it will be revealed in the future. You can find the VA-11 Hall-A 10th Memory Sound album on Spotify here, Apple Music here, YouTube here, and Bandcamp here.

VA-11 Hall-A is now available on PC, Switch, PS4, and PS Vita. It will arrive on iOS in the future. You can find the full 10th anniversary announcement from Ysbryd Games below:

The grande old dame’s a decade old now, eh? For us at Ysbryd Games, it remains the honor of a lifetime to have worked as the publisher of the fine folks at Sukeban Games to bring you the 207X tale of Jill Stingray and Glitch City’s finest assortment of odd fellows. Sukeban have their own particular thoughts on their wild journey, which you can read here.

To celebrate and commemorate the occasion, we have some announcements to share that might interest an enjoyer of VA-11 Hall-A!

(Obligatory mention before we start: For anything pertaining to N1RV Ann-A, we gently encourage you to check back next year when .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND has been released,  as per Sukeban’s last missive on the matter.)

1.    NEW ALBUM RELEASE: VA-11 Hall-A 10th Memory Sound

Garoad’s back on the scene with a 10-track expansion to the seminal soundtracks that defined the VA-11 Hall-A experience through Prologue OST: Sounds From The Future and Second Round. We think this album honors much of the DNA that filled those two albums with absolute bangers, while reflecting a new layer of sophistication that comes with 10 years of maturation and growth – much like your favorite aged cocktail.

The album is available today, June 21st on Bandcamp for all territories via https://garoad.bandcamp.com/album/va-11-hall-a-10th-memory-sound as well as digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube!

With new music being released, you might assume that the new tracks will be included in the actual game. And you’d be right! Though it will not be immediate, we’d like to confirm that VA-11 Hall-A will receive updates sometime in 2026 for the PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions to include Garoad’s 10th Memory Sound tracks into the game’s jukebox.

2.    NEW STATUES: POP UP PARADE Dorothy Haze and Scale Jill Stingray

As you know, NOBODY EXPECTS THE DOROTHINQUISTION. Except our pals at Good Smile Company, who have been working hard to prepare a wonderful POP UP PARADE rendition of everyone’s favorite slinger of “Honey~”s.

Not to be outdone, Scale Jill Stingray’s coming in shaking, not stirred in her own martini glass. If you already had trouble fitting 9 inches of Jill Stingray into your abode with her L Size POP UP PARADE incarnation, this brand-new 1/7 scale version of Jill that Good Smile are putting together will make you regret all your life choices.

3.    NEW PLUSHIES: Stella Hoshii plushies

We actually meant to release this lass a while back. For those of you who remember when we released  the Sei Asagiri plushie, Stella was supposed to release with her as a pair.

Well, we’re happy to say that the manufacturing issues blocking progress on Stella have been resolved, and we plan to offer up Glitch City’s kindest Cat Boomer tsundere as a stylishly adorable plushie before the end of 2026. Please stay tuned here for more information on Stella’s release, which will be available for purchase at merch.ysbryd.net when the time comes.

4.    BACK FROM THE GRAVE: VA-11 Hall-A on iOS

Self-explanatory. Confession time: We had an 80% complete version of the port all the way back in 2018, but honestly, we did not want to release the game on Apple iOS devices back then. Discovery on the App Store was absolute garbage, meaning the game would have dropped like an anvil to the bottom of the App Store in 3 days or less and nobody would have seen it.

The situation is slightly different in 2026 for various reasons, foremost among those being that we’re seeing data about indie game launches beginning to fare meaningfully better in the iOS ecosystem. Combined with the game’s 10th birthday having arrived, we think there’s never been a better time to bring this project back to life. We hope to bring you more information about the iOS version when we have more to share!

5.    OTHER VA-11 Hall-A PROJECTS: Real alcohol? A CONCERT!?

We and our collaboration partners are quietly working on other things – for example, you folks already know about VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works, which should on the way to those who ordered it quite soon. But there are other things y’all might wanna keep on your radar!

For the beverage lovers among us, Brian (the erstwhile regional manager overseeing VA-11 Hall-A) is working on an alcoholic beverage collab that fans may have a chance to drink for real, quite possibly during the Daily VA-11 Hall-A season if all goes well. This beverage, uh, has no relation to the Hadron cannon you can see on the moon for one week every month.

Last but NOT least: for the truly diehard fans (because if you read this far, you’re hungry for everything), here’s One More Thing: We’re in the early stages of putting together a concert that entirely features the music of VA-11 Hall-A. All we should say for now is that this concert will take place around mid-December 2026 somewhere in the greater Tokyo area of Japan. Once we have more details to share about this event, expect another Steam post with the full details!

That’s all the stuff we’ve got to share at this time! It’s been a wonderful 10 years filled with lovely memories and testimonials from all you wonderful folks whose lives were touched by VA-11 Hall-A. Please know that we’ll continue to fly the flag for VA-11 Hall-A in high-quality ways that we think you deserve to enjoy, and we sincerely hope you’ll keep discussing the game with fellow fans or others who have simply not had the time to make drinks and changing lives.

Cheers,

Brian and team Ysbryd
