Villion:Code is now available for Sony PlayStation 4&5 and Nintendo Switch 1&2 in Japan
Compile Heart has today released Villion:Code in Japan. The new RPG made by former Atlus staff members such as the producer Kouji "Cozy" Okada, the writer Tadashi Satomi, and the composer Tsukasa Masuko is now available digitally on the Japanese PlayStation Store (PS5, PS4) and Nintendo Store (Switch 2, Switch 1), as well as physically for PlayStation 5 and Switch 1&2 (with the Switch 2 physical package appears to feature the full game cartridge without any game key card signs spotted so far).
In addition, the company has published a streaming guideline for Villion:Code that applies to players residing in Japan. This guideline basically allows user-made gameplay videos to be uploaded and streamed on JASRAC-approved platforms like YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Meta's social media platforms. However, the content allowed for publications only goes until the defeat of the GEM Boss for Chapter 3, as pictured below.
As of this writing, Idea Factory has still yet to announce an English localization release for Villion:Code.
