Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is moving to a global unified server, with current server closing on September 17
Netmarble has announced a major change that will happen to Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. The company will close the existing server for the game on September 17 at 06:00 AM UTC. However, they are also preparing a separate global unified server that is scheduled to launch this July.
Some of the features in the current server, which launched globally back in May 2022, will cease on July 2—including the in-game shop. On the same day, Netmarble will record the Combat Power of existing players, which will be used to determine bonus rewards that they can receive when they have to start with a new character in the new unified server.
As an additional note, this announcement also has specific mentions of the termination of the services that use MARBLEX. The latter is a blockchain ecosystem that Netmarble had made.

There were moments of great joy, and perhaps times of disappointment,
but every single moment remains an incredibly precious record to us.

― Service Termination Notice
After much deliberation and thorough review, it is with a heavy heart that we share the following news.
The 《 Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds 》 MARBLEX service, current game servers, and the official forum will officially terminate service on September 17th, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC).
Prior to this, the sale of all paid items in the in-game shop will be discontinued following the update on July 2nd.
After carefully evaluating the future direction of our operations, we concluded that it is difficult to continuously provide a stable service experience for our Soul Divers under the current structure.
We explored various alternatives until the very end, but ultimately decided that this difficult choice was necessary to responsibly protect your precious time and in-game currency.
We want to emphasize that this decision was not made lightly, and words cannot fully express how deeply apologetic we are to everyone who has placed their trust in us.
The web shop for MARBLEX exchanges will remain available until September 10th at 06:00 (UTC). We strongly advise Soul Divers who wish to make exchanges to complete them before this deadline.
― The Journey Continues: Migration to the New Global Unified Server
However, the stories you have created within 《Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds》 do not end here.
While the MARBLEX-based service is ending,
the game service and your journey in Evermore will continue through a new global unified build.
Because the global unified server is a new environment, you will need to create a new character to begin.
To help you transition smoothly and continue your journey, our development team has prepared migration support rewards.
A special website detailing these migration support rewards will launch in early July,
and the new global unified server will officially open in July, prior to the service termination.
By establishing this new home before the current service ends, we aim to minimize any gap in your adventure and ensure Soul Divers can seamlessly continue their journey in the global unified server's new environment.
We plan to provide accelerated growth support on the new server,
and detailed information regarding the special website and the new server will be provided sequentially through separate notices.
― Migration Support Rewards Based on July 2 Combat Power (CP) Record
To ensure that the sweat and time you have poured into 《Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds》,
along with all the growth you have achieved, are not lost in vain, we have prepared migration support rewards.
■ Record Date & Time: July 2, 2026, 06:00 (UTC)
At this exact time, we will record the highest Combat Power (CP) achieved on your account,
and based on this record, tiered rewards will be distributed according to your CP tier when you migrate to the new global unified server.
Your highest achieved CP is verified via your linked account,
and rewards will be distributed automatically when you log into the global unified service using that exact same account.
However, because the global unified service will not support Facebook login, Soul Divers who have only linked a Facebook account MUST additionally link an email address before the global unified service opens.
Furthermore, because migration support rewards require logging in via the exact same platform to be successfully delivered, accounts linked exclusively to Facebook will be unable to receive these rewards. Please make sure to complete your email linking within the given timeframe.
We are preparing more generous rewards for higher CP tiers,
and detailed information on the rewards, distribution methods, and claim periods will be thoroughly explained in a future notice.
To repay the dedication of the Soul Divers who stay with us until the end,
we will do our absolute best until the very final moment.
