Romeo is a Dead Man has been updated today on PC with its latest patch titled 'Romeo is Changed, Man' bringing in the costume change feature, photo mode, and a collaboration with Hotline Miami.

The update is accompanied by a Steam sale and a discounted bundle featuring both Romeo is a Dead Man and Hotline Miami. The update and sale will roll out on PS5 and Xbox soon as well. Grasshopper Manufacture is proud to announce that its latest action-adventure title – Romeo Is A Dead Man, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Windows platforms – is getting its first major update, “ROMEO IS CHANGED, MAN”. The update will first go live on Steam from 2am on Friday, June 26th, 2026 Japan time (PST: 10am Thursday, June 25th, EDT: 1pm Thursday, June 25th, GMT: Thursday, 5pm June 25th).
The update adds two Hotline Miami collaboration costumes, a Costume Change feature, and a Photo Mode feature to the game. Try on Jacket’s “Chicken Mask” and the Biker’s “Full-face Helmet” while destroying Rotters and snapping photos like crazy!
Additionally, a 20% off sale kicks off on Steam at the exact same time. And on top of that, a new bundle with Hotline Miami will also be released at 10 off, so make sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity.

New costumes and Costume Change feature
Once you've cleared the game and saved your data, head over to Romeo’s room on the Space-Time Ship to unlock the Costume Change feature. From there, you can deck yourself out in two Hotline Miami collab setups, cycle through three different masks (the OG "Dead Gear L.E.D.", the later-game "Dead Gear - Luminous", and the "Dead Gear - Horned" inner mask) or swap between eight badass jackets (including your existing jacket) to customize Romeo however you like.

FBI Space-Time Task Force Battle Suit: The official, standard-issue battle suit used by the Space-Time Task Force.
FBI Space-Time Task Force Battle Suit (No Jacket): Same as above, without the jacket.
Caliban County Sheriff Summer Uniform: The official, standard-issue sheriff's summer uniform used in Caliban County.
Tiger Jacket: Jacket worn by a certain assassin when he was a rookie.
Tiger Jacket II: Jacket worn by a certain assassin when he was around 30.
Tiger Jacket III: Jacket worn by a certain assassin when he was around middle-age.
Tiger Death Ball Jacket: Jacket worn by a certain assassin while living in seclusion.
Demon Jacket: Leather jacket worn by a legendary demon hunter.
Photo Mode
An all-new "Photo Mode" has been added directly to the pause menu, which lets you snap high-quality screenshots during 3D gameplay. This feature grants you full control to adjust the camera, tweak color correction, manipulate depth of field, and slap on custom frame art to capture your finest moments.
