Square Enix publishes Seiken Densetsu / Mana series 35th anniversary movie

Square Enix has published a special movie to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Seiken Densetsu series, which is better known in English as the Mana series.

This anniversary is based on the inaugural Seiken Densetsu release for Game Boy on June 28, 1991. This game was notably localized in English as Final Fantasy Adventure, because the original Japanese release had the full title Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden. It was not until the second game that the series had its own unique moniker, when Square localized the 1993 SFC release of Seiken Densetsu 2 into Secret of Mana for the SNES.

The movie starts with a display and synopsis of the 1991 Game Boy release of Seiken Densetsu / Final Fantasy Adventure, although it is then followed with a montage of bubbles showing subsequent Mana series releases. You can also find the anniversary movie right below.
