Back to the Dawn is coming to PlayStation 5 on October 22, Switch 2 physical release canceled
Update: Clear River Games has announced that they are cancelling their physical Nintendo Switch 2 release of Back to the Dawn. While the publisher stated "unforeseen circumstances" behind this cancellation, they are now looking to instead consider a physical release based on the first Nintendo Switch.
In addition, Clear River Games noted that their physical PlayStation 5 release of the game will be available in October. This could go in line with Clouded Leopard Entertainment's plan to release the game's PS5 version on October 22, as seen below.

In addition, Clouded Leopard also announced that the PS5 release will come with additional subtitle options in Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish. The existing Nintendo Switch 1&2 releases are also set to get an update that adds these languages on the same day as the PS5 version release on October 22.
However, take note that the initial PC release on Steam is separately handled by the original Chinese studio Metal Head Games and the publisher Spiral Up Games. The Steam version already has Latin American Spanish but it also includes Russian and Vietnamese, which have not appeared in consoles. The PC version also still only has Chinese voiceovers and is missing the Japanese voiceover option available in the console releases.
