Digimon Story: Time Stranger update with performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X and more is now available
Bandai Namco has released a free update for Digimon Story: Time Stranger on PS5, Xbox, and Steam today alongside the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions launching.
This update brings in a new performance mode for PS5 and Xbox Series X (not available on Xbox Series S according to the patch notes), photo mode during exploration, and much more as here. Digimon Story: Time Stranger is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). It launches on July 10 for Switch and Switch 2.

- Added Terriermon Assistant as a playable character.
- Available through Mode Change from Terriermon.

- Added a Photo Mode during field exploration.
- Added a screen to check Digivolution Conditions in the Digifarm.
- Added a Graphics Mode selection option. Not available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, and Steam.
- Quality Mode: 4K, HDR, up to 30 FPS
- Performance Mode: Full HD, up to 60 FPS
Others
- Fixed an issue where training in the Digifarm would not complete if the playtime had reached the maximum limit of 999 hours and 59 minutes, causing the remaining time countdown to stop progressing.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent progression under certain conditions during the Main Mission “The God of Speed's Wish.”
- Fixed various other minor issues.
