Baten Kaitos remaster developer Logicalbeat worked on the 4K 60fps support in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Switch 2 Edition

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition released last month featuring new content and various visual enhancements and performance upgrades over the Switch original. Japanese developer Logicalbeat who worked on the remaster for Baten Kaitos: I & II HD Remaster has updated its website to reveal that it worked on the Switch 2 Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition's 4K 60fps support.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upscales to 4K 60fps docked. As per Digital Foundry, it upscales to 4K from an internal resolution of 720p. The end result isn't perfect as I covered here when it comes to performance as well, but it is a lot better than Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Yoshiki Domae, the representative director of Logicalbeat, posted about the contribution as well on his own social media account. We have translated it below:

Publishing an accomplishment from my company, logicalbeat!

We were involved in cooperating with the support of 4K & 60fps for Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition's Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Thank you

I myself also replayed it from the beginning. The Ether Jet also feels so good.

It is worth noting that Monolithsoft has not updated its website to include Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Edition yet, but it has included Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
