Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 "Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart" launches August 20

Kuro Games has announced that Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 "Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart" will launch on August 20 for all platforms. 

This major update continues the main story with Chapter IV Act III and Chapter IV Segue with two new resonators, new Echoes and challenges in combat, and promises to deliver the biggest performance updates for Wuthering Waves yet. Wuthering Waves is now available on iOS, Android, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). Kuro Games has revealed the first details for Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, "Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart," the next major update for the award-winning open-world action RPG.

Continuing the journey across Solaris-3, Version 3.6 advances the game's main story while introducing two new Resonators, powerful new weapons, challenging combat encounters, limited-time events, and extensive gameplay improvements across every platform.

Version 3.6 continues Wuthering Waves' expanding story while introducing new Resonators, weapons, combat challenges and gameplay improvements across every platform. Alongside the new story content, players will be able to obtain the new Resonators Qingxiao and Jingran through the update's Featured Resonator Convenes.

The update also introduces the new weapons Glint of Clouds and Thousandfold Deliverance, alongside two new outfit accessories: Qingxiao's Accessory: Cloudbloom and Jingran's Accessory: Snowpaw, giving players new ways to strengthen and customise their favourite Resonators.

Combat is expanded with the introduction of the new Echo Calamity Effigy, the new Phantom Echo Phantom – Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis, and the new Tactical Hologram – Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis, offering fresh challenges for Rovers.

Version 3.6 also features a wide range of events, including the Resonance Sim Realm combat event, the If Dreams Still Reverberate featured co-op combat event, Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception leisure event, The Strings Remember, the Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda featured exploration event, and the Gifts of Drifting Mist seven-day login event.

Alongside new content, Version 3.6 introduces a broad suite of quality-of-life improvements. Echo management has been refined with more precise equipment recommendations, equipment previews, and improved build suggestions based on selected plans. Players will also unlock themed backgrounds for the Expedition Motorbike through Main Quest progression, while expanded sharing functionality makes it easier than ever to showcase 5-Star Convene pulls, Gallery content, and challenge completions.

On PC, Wuthering Waves upgrades to NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation, delivering higher frame rates while reducing visual artefacts and ghosting. Version 3.6 also introduces underlying development improvements designed to enhance performance across all supported platforms by switching the programming languague used for development.
