Ananta launches on January 15, 2027 for PS5, PC, and mobile

Naked Rain and NetEase Games announced that their upcoming free-to-play urban open-world RPG Ananta will be launching on January 15, 2027 for PlayStation 5, PC (Steam & standalone client), and mobile. The release date trailer that debuted on Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 also unveiled the game's second major city, Chongxiao.

Ananta was initially unveiled as Project Mugen back in August 2023. Since then, the game has underwent several internal overhauls. In several interviews back in last year's Tokyo Game Show, the developers have confirmed that Ananta will not have a character gacha system. Monetization for Ananta is suspected to be focused on optional cosmetics, instead.

NetEase Games and Naked Rain today announced that ANANTA, the highly anticipated free-to-play urban open-world RPG, will launch worldwide on January 15, 2027 on Ananta's official PC client, on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and mobile platforms . To date, the game has accumulated over 17 million global pre-registrations from players across 110 countries and regions.

Alongside the launch date announcement, ANANTA has released a new trailer officially unveiling Chongxiao, the game's second major city.
