Final Fantasy XVI is now Steam Deck Verified and Steam Machine Verified by Valve

Valve has marked Final Fantasy XVI Steam Deck Verified and Steam Machine Verified.

Final Fantasy XVI launched on Steam in September 2024 and it was Steam Deck Unsupported for a while because it could not run in an acceptable manner even on the lowest settings. Valve marked it Steam Deck and Steam Machine Verified four hours ago as of this writing. You can find the rating screenshot below:

It remains to be seen if it is actually playable and a decent experience on Steam Deck considering Valve marked The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Steam Deck Verified as well and that is a miserable experience on Valve's handheld. I will retest it across PC handhelds and on Xbox to see if Square Enix has fixed any of the visual issues there soon.
