Capcom Tokyo Game Show 2026 booth game demo details are being gradually published
Capcom has started publishing details about their booth at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2026, which will take place at Makuhari Messe on September 17-21. The company has also updated their annual TGS website with the 2026 edition, although the Japanese version of the site exclusively contains details about the featured games' demo builds.
Out of the six games primarily featured by Capcom, four of them will be relevant to us: Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Pragmata.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance
The Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance demo build at TGS 2026 will have three quests, and each of them will feature the following monster respectively:
- The new monster seen in last June's reveal trailer
- A returning Elder Dragon; it will be revealed at the Capcom Spotlight: TGS 2026 showcase on September 16
- Chatacabra - other than being intended for newcomers, this quest will only be available in single-player mode, unlike the above two quests that will be playable with multiplayer
Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen
The Dragon's Dogma II expansion will also have playable demo builds with the following three stages available to choose from:
- Investigating the incident in Norgan - for those who have played the original game
- Slaying the ice dragon Fimble in Norgan - for skilled players
- Slaying the Griffin in the base game's area - for newcomers
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
The new Onimusha game will already be out by the time TGS 2026 takes place, but Capcom will still place playable demo builds and giveaways of microfiber handkerchiefs based on the title. Details about this demo will be published at a later date.
Pragmata
Likewise, Pragmata is already long available since last April, but it will also have a playable demo zone with handkerchief freebies also available.
The remaining two games completing Capcom's TGS 2026 booth lineup will be non-RPGs in the action game Mega Man: Dual Override (which will feature all three parts of Twinkle Girl's stage) and the fighting game Street Fighter 6.
