Eternal Anima launches on PC, Xbox Series, PS5, and Switch 2 on March 4, 2027

Marvelous has announced that Eternal Anima, a new original RPG, will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 4, 2027. The game was first unveiled during the September 9, 2026 Nintendo Direct broadcast. Marvelous also included a trailer for the game on its official YouTube channel.

Eternal Anima takes place on a fantasy world where an apocalyptic calamity has sunk the four continents of the world beneath the ocean. The surviving city of Urvis Ael is a "false paradise" where yearning for a better future is considered a capital offense. The amnesiac hero, Wade, is branded a heretic for questioning his society, and embarks on a time-spanning adventure to uncover the hidden truth of the world. 

Wade can use a power called Psychometry to tap into the memories of objects, using them to unlock new powers. Wade's power also allows players to predict enemy actions on a timeline, uncovering information that can be used to disrupt their turns and maximize battle results.

Marvelous has opened Eternal Anima pre-orders via the game's official website. The limited physical releases of the game on PS5 or Switch 2 will include character cards, a 2-disc soundtrack, and an art book. The physical Switch 2 edition is a full release on cartridge, and not a Game Key Card.
