Dragon's Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage app launching soon for Switch 2, update for other platforms

Capcom has announced that the Dragon's Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage app will be launching soon on Switch 2. An update for the app on existing platforms will also be released.

This app lets you create your characters in Dragon's Dogma 2 ahead of the Dark Arisen release in the coming weeks.

With the arrival of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen just around the corner, a new trailer featuring the story and enemies in the new area Norgan was revealed and eager Arisen can get an early look at the new character customization options coming with the expansion using the updated Dragon’s Dogma™ 2: Character Creation & Storage tool* on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and now available on Nintendo Switch 2.

Note: The new customization options will not be available to use in the Dragon’s Dogma 2 main game until the launch of the Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion. However, we encourage you to get your characters ready for the upcoming release of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen.

New Official Pawns created by partners around the world will be joining the lineup to help Arisen tackle the 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges and unravel the mysteries beneath the snows of Norgan. Embark on your new adventure with the Pawns created by our partners! More Official Pawns will be added later, so please stay tuned!

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen releases for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on October 9, 2026 for MSRP $49.99. The Dark Arisen Expansion will also be available separately as DLC for the base game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam for MSRP $29.99. The Norgan Fashion Set - Northern Attire will be available as a pre-order bonus, which can be accessed via in-game storage at launch.
