Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 launches on September 30

Publisher Perfect World and developer Hotta Studio have announced that Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 will launch on September 30 for all platforms bringing in a new Porsche collaboration, the opening of Pukaland, and new playable character Blackbird.

Developer Hotta World and publisher Perfect World today announced that Version 1.4 of supernatural urban open-world RPG Neverness to Everness (NTE) launches on September 30 for PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and Mac. The streets of Hethereau are getting busier, as two new Porsche vehicles hit the road and the gates to Pukaland finally open, turning the previously inaccessible theme park into a new area packed with attractions, discoveries and rewards. Version 1.4 also introduces new character Blackbird, a mysterious witch who can transform into a bird and fly through the open world, and a series of new supernatural mysteries.

The second NTE × Porsche collaboration shifts into gear with two new additions: the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) and the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package. Whether behind the wheel of the iconic 911 Turbo or the cutting-edge Taycan Turbo GT, players can take their favourite onto the streets of Hethereau and make the journey between destinations part of the experience. 

Porsche Returns to the Streets of Hethereau

The Porsche 918 Spyder also makes its return, giving players who missed the first collaboration another chance to add it to their collection.

Version 1.4 also opens the doors to the new Porsche Club, with free customisation including special liveries and performance parts, alongside exclusive furniture, titles, namecards, phone wallpapers and cases. The collaboration extends beyond the driver’s seat, offering more ways for players to bring their enthusiasm for Porsche into their lives in Hethereau.

The partnership continues the first-ever automotive brand collaboration of its kind in the anime urban RPG genre, offering players the exhilarating experience of driving a world-class luxury sports car to explore NTE’s vibrant open world in style.

Pukaland Finally Opens Its Gates

Players who have spent their time in Hethereau wondering what lies beyond the gates of Pukaland will finally get their answer on September 30. Version 1.4 transforms the familiar landmark into a fully explorable theme park with four distinct zones, packed with attractions that offer their own challenges.

Start on Puka Avenue with the Pendulum, Spinning Octopus and Drop Tower, where a button-input minigame challenges players to climb even higher. Venture deeper into the park to race through Cakehill’s Flora Maze before your stamina runs out, avoid lurking inhabitants in the Spooky Cookies haunted house, or ride a roller coaster through Lavaton’s volcanic landscape.

The Wonderlog tracks activities and rewards across the park, with Puka Stars earned at attractions exchangeable for souvenirs and other items. Familiar characters will also join in the festivities along the way.

And when night falls, players can gather around Pukatopia Castle to watch fireworks illuminate the sky. Just keep an eye out: even a day at the theme park can take an unexpected turn when anomalies are involved.

Blackbird Takes Flight on September 30

Just in time for spooky season, the enigmatic witch Blackbird joins NTE's playable roster on September 30, alongside the return of “Ketchup Demon” Lacrimosa. Blackbird’s tale begins with a mysterious plea for help that draws the usually homebound witch out into the unknown, leaving players to uncover who needs her help and where the journey will lead.

Beyond her story, Blackbird offers a distinctive new way to explore the open world. She can transform into a bird and take to the skies, while character interactions allow her to hold hands with the protagonist and even take them flying. Away from battle, these moments reveal a different side to her, with three outfits offering even more ways to showcase her personality and style. 

Strange Encounters Await

Version 1.4 will also bring new Anomaly Commissions to Hethereau, expanding the city's collection of strange and supernatural encounters. Players may find themselves waiting for a Ghost Bus late at night, surrounded by some unusual passengers, or searching a dream for a hidden anomaly while trying to avoid the lurking monsters. Another investigation takes an unexpected turn when everyday objects suddenly become enormous.

These new commissions will become permanent additions to Hethereau, giving players even more mysteries to uncover as they explore the city.

Gifts and Rewards

Players can also look forward to a range of gifts and rewards throughout Version 1.4:

• 20 Solid Dice for use on Limited Boards, available through the seven-day Circle Gifts login event and a special Version 1.4 gift.
• The new Puka Membership Program unlocks at City Tycoon Level 16, with rewards including two S-Class Standard Character Selection Boxes, one S-Class Standard Arc Selection Box, three outfits, and more.
