Stellar Blade Complete Edition for Switch 2 will feature a frame generation toggle at release

Shift Up has announced that Stellar Blade Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 will feature a frame generation toggle at release.

The current build of the demo forces frame generation on at all times and it feels awful with some elements still 30fps while others use frame generation to attempt to hit 60fps (with it dropping below) while adding latency. You can try out the demo here. The full message from Shift Up about the frame generation toggle on Switch 2 can be found below:

Thank you to everyone who has played the Stellar Blade Complete Edition demo on Nintendo Switch 2 so far.

We've been watching your feedback closely and decided to add a Frame Generation toggle at release. We hope this lets you play the way that looks and feels best to you!

If you haven't done so, read our review of the PS5 version of the action RPG here, my feature covering the PC port on Steam Deck and ROG Ally here, and my PS5 Pro impressions here. Stellar Blade is now available on PS5 and PC (Steam). Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches for Switch 2 on November 5.
