Persona 3 Portable's Kotone Shiomi appears in Persona 5: The Phantom X simultaneously worldwide

Sega, Atlus, and Perfect World have released a new update for Persona 5: The Phantom X that adds the female protagonist of Persona 3 Portable with Kotone Shiomi as her fixed name. Following the initial teaser from last July, the character is now available simultaneously on all 6 regional servers: Mainland Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Global, and Southeast Asian. This makes her the third character unit to be released simultaneously worldwide after Justine & Caroline and Hatsune Miku.

The same update features an exclusive event story episode starring Kotone. It also includes a new remix of "Wiping All Out":
