Caves of Qud is coming to Switch 2 with a free upgrade for Switch 1 & getting a Lost in Cult physical release

Kitfox Games and Freehold Games have announced that Caves of Qud will be getting a Switch 2 version and it will be a free upgrade for those who own the Switch 1 version. 

Caves of Qud will also be getting a Switch 2 physical release through Lost in Cult who recently did the vinyl soundtrack. The Switch 2 digital version will be launching soon and you can find the physical release art below:

Developer Freehold Games and publisher Kitfox Games are happy to announce that the Award-Winning roguelike Caves of Qud is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 alongside a physical limited edition from Lost in Cult. Players can experience the deep simulation of Caves of Qud, now optimized for the Switch 2. 

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is a free DLC upgrade from the Switch 1 version (there will not be a native digital Switch 2 port of the game). There will not be a physical edition for original Switch, only Switch 2. The Lost in Cult Caves of Qud EDITIONS package is limited to 1,500 Switch 2 copies. It contains an exclusive slipcase and cover artwork by Sajan Rai and a poster and sticker designed by Raquel Meyers (+ a bunch of other extras!)

Caves of Qud is currently available on Switch and Steam for $29.99 USD, pre-orders for the Switch 2 physical limited edition are open now on Lost in Cult.
